Who are Memorial Ambassadors?
Here at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, we are immensely proud of our Ambassadors—a dedicated group of individuals who serve as the lifeblood of our organization. It is easy to overlook the hard workers and what they do for us and our success stems from not just our efforts, but from everyone’s.
As these updates are new, it is important to start with the basics and I will discuss what the Memorial Ambassadors are and what they do.
Memorial Ambassadors are passionate advocates who are the cornerstone of our outreach efforts, working tirelessly to promote our mission and share the remarkable history and values that our Memorial represents. It is through their unwavering commitment and enthusiasm that we are able to continue honoring the legacy of Brother George Washington and preserving the principles of Freemasonry.
Our Ambassadors, drawn from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, are united by a common thread: their love for Freemasonry and their deep appreciation for the George Washington Masonic National Memorial. They volunteer their time and energy to spread awareness about the Memorial's significance, welcoming visitors with warmth and knowledge, and fostering a sense of community among our guests. Many are Freemasons, who will go out into their community, attend lodge or Masonic organization meetings and promote the mission of the Memorial. Some are highly active and doing monthly programs while others might only do a program or two during the year, yet their passion is ever there.
