Memorial Tree Planting

$950.00

Remember Your Loved One, Lodge or Brother Mason with a Tree Planted on the Grounds of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
Over the years, the George Washington Masonic Memorial will lose many beautiful, older trees due to age and inclement weather. Your participation in the Memorial Tree Program will help to restore the grounds to their original splendor, while giving you an opportunity to pay a special tribute.
With your donation, your tree will be planted on the Memorial grounds in Honor or Memory of an individual or organization. A granite marker will be placed near the tree identifying the donor and honoree. The wording for the marker will be limited to two lines: one line for the donor and one line for the honoree.
A variety of trees will be planted. Trees have been selected that will thrive and grow in the Memorial environment.
Your tree will be maintained in perpetuity. This is a meaningful way to honor and/or remember an individual or organization while at the same time making an everlasting tribute to the memory of George Washington, the Man, the Mason and Father of our Country.
The George Washington Masonic Memorial was built by the Masonic Fraternity in honor of George Washington. Located only a few miles from Mount Vernon, it is situated on 36 acres overlooking Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, the Potomac River, and Washington, D.C.
