Dedicate a Tree on the Memorial Grounds

Having a tree planted on the grounds of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial is an excellent way to honor an important individual in your life. And it’s also a great way to express thanks to an organization, such as a Lodge or Chapter.

For a donation of $750, the tree will be cared for in perpetuity, and a handsome stone marker placed near the tree will communicate your dedication. Sponsor a tree today!

Frequently Asked Questions

How did the Memorial’s tree program begin? Over the years, the George Washington Masonic Memorial will lose many beautiful, older trees due to age and inclement weather. Since 2001, we have promoted sponsored trees in order to help restore the grounds to their original splendor, while giving you an opportunity to pay a special tribute.

May I select the species of tree for my dedication? A variety of species are planted based upon consultation with professional arborists. We will select your species based upon what will thrive best in the Memorial’s environment.
